At the heart of Colonial Quito, is the largest historical exhibition that speaks of the origins and evolution of the Ecuadorian capital. It occupies the oldest civil building in the city, where the San Juan de Dios Hospital operated for several years. The museum covers the daily life of the citizens of the time, through anecdotes, legends, traditions, tastes, flavors, dresses and even parties.
