Museum of Technology aims to register, preserve and expose technological elements of the 20th century, thus promoting a greater appreciation of its collection, as a precursor to the evolutionary process of contemporary technology.
Technology Museum you have access to machines and equipment from a very recent past. The collection has old computers, by the CPD of the 1970s, a huge matrix printer, the ‘‘ donkeys ’terminals and the first generation of (huge) diskettes. However, at this point, the visitor receives a real lesson on the history of communication, going through the invention of valves that served not only for radio and TV sets, but also for the creation of ENIAC, the first computer, created in the 1950s. , which occupied an area of 164 m² and was equipped with 18 thousand valves.
Opening Hours
Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm.
