Annema Hotel is about 8km away from the 11th century walled town and castle complex of Monemvassia. The remains include defensive structures and Byzantine churches. There is also a small adjacent town with narrow streets only fit for pedestrians. Monemvassia has a medieval ambience, which makes you feel like going back in time.
