This Fort had a triangular shape, the largest side of which extended along the Falésia facing the current fishing port of Baleeira, and its main function was to control an area of possible disembarkation and protect the fishermen who had the fishing frame there. It was invoked by Nossa Senhora da Guia, with a shrine inside it.
It had rooms for garrison, but, at present, it preserves only part of the arched doorway, without the upper part of the upper part, and some foundations of the walls, a few centimeters above the ground.
Located in Vila do Bispo.
It was one of the fortifications attacked and destroyed by the English privateer Francis Drake, in his onslaught in the region, in 1587.
