Grenville, the second largest city after Saint George's, is the main port on the east coast.
The city is not of great tourist interest, except for the 19th century Court of Justice, located near the market. The old police building and some churches whose names are of French origin, show the tragic part of its history. To the north, there is a cliff of more than 30 m high from which the natives, in the seventeenth century, preferred to jump rather than stay in the French colonies investing in the island.
