Hospitalet has managed to maintain most of its original character. It is built around an old hospital. with still visible walls. and it has now become modern on the inside. With the tourist resort of Miami Playa it offers the holidaymaker anything that s needed for a pleasant and fun holiday. The many shops and supermarkets facilitate your shopping. And you can have a coffee or a drink in one of the many bars or terraces and for a quick bite there are typical Spanish tapas. The many restaurants with national an international cuisine will take care of your culinary well-being. Hospitalet has a cosy marina with many great bars and terraces where you can hire sailing- and motorboats. There is a typical Spanish market here on Sunday mornings.Hospitalet is great for snorkelling. diving and fishing too. A few kilometres away you will find a number of famous - and according to some - best golf courses in Spain.Excursion tips are obviously a day trip to Barcelona. Tarragona. Reus.
