Luís Correia
Luís Correia is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Piauí, considered one of the best cities in the state. It is one of the four coastal municipalities of Piauí and the one with the busiest beaches during the vacations by tourists coming from Ceará, Maranhão and mainly from Teresina.
In festive periods the city gets to receive five times more tourists than the total of its population. This happens mainly in the New Year and Carnival, which is one of the largest in the Northeast.

Luiz Correia is the municipality of Piauí, with the longest stretch of the coast, about 46 km, where most Teresinos spend their vacations or where they go to relax, attracting many tourists throughout the year.
Full of beaches with warm and clear waters, some of them very urbanized, and quiet beaches, such as Atalaia Beach, Coqueiro Beach, and the old fishermen's village, as well as Luís Correia, which houses the largest and most beautiful part of the narrow coast of Piauí.
The region has dunes, cliffs, as in Itaqui Beach, where the lighthouse of Itaqui and house of modern architecture. Praia do Arrombado has rustic bars and tranquility.
