One of the largest cliffs with birds in Europe. This most western point of Iceland is actually a line of several cliffs, 14 kilometers long and 441 meters high. Safe from foxes, the birds are fearless and offer stunning photo opportunities up close. Puffins are particularly meek and frequent the top of the cliffs. But beware, the edges are fragile and loose and the drop is high.
Látrabjarg is therefore deservedly the most visited tourist attraction in the western fjords. The cliffs are easily accessible by car and when you get there, take a walk along the cliffs.
