The beach forms a wide bay, the environment is the warmest, dryest and brightest in the Algarve, the sea is known for its softness and warmth. To the west and in the central part of the beach, the beach is framed by the lively promenade, in Portuguese sidewalk, with gardens and multiple tourist facilities. In the area surrounding the beach there is a picnic area under the pine forest, next to the campsite. The access to the nascent beach is done next to the park of picnics, the road is of beaten earth during 100m.
Facilities: Bar, Restaurant, Beach with lifeguard, Access for disabled, Sport fishing, Rental of awnings, sunbeds, Showers, Windsurfing, Motorized boats, Small craft.

It receives a great influx of vacationers in the bathing season.
