The Estói Palace, is a rococo pastiche, in Faro, Portugal, unique in the region.
The palace was the idea of a local nobleman who died shortly after the building began in the mid-1840s.
Another local personality, José Francisco da Silva, acquired the palace and completed it in 1909. He was made viscount of Estói thanks to the money and efforts that he spent in its construction. The work was directed by the architect Domingos da Silva Meira, whose interest in sculpture is evident. The interior of the palace, in pastel and stucco, has been restored and is an inn.
The Estói parish is situated between Faro and São Brás de Alportel, near the IP1 motorway (Via do Infante de Sagres). From the Mother Church, located in the center of the friendly village, the pedestrian path to the Palace takes only 5 minutes.
