It remains one of the most visited children's theme parks in Portugal, presenting small-scale buildings representing monuments and other elements about the architecture and history of Portugal.
It is a theme park in the Rossio Square of Santa Clara (Coimbra), specifically designed and built as a playful space to show children aspects of the architecture and history of the Portuguese Empire. Started in the late 1930s and early 1940s, the park's design and architecture are heavily imbued with the nationalist spirit of time. The park was inaugurated on June 8, 1940.
