Posada Camarga sets in a muleteer’s house from 1890 which preserves the original structure from the houses in the Maragato region. It is distributed over 2 buildings surrounding a typical courtyard.
The main building features a reception, a dining room and a large communal lounge with fireplace and reading area. A set menu to choose from 3 starters, 3 main dishes and a selection of desserts is offered for dinner, upon prior reservation. A traditional stew is offered at midday in some weekends.
Featuring stone walls and exposed wooden beams, the bedrooms are located in the second building. They all come with a TV, air conditioning and heating, as well as a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout.
Posada Camarga is located in Santiago Millas, 550 metres from San Miguel Hermitage. The historic city of Astorga is less than 15 minutes’ drive away.
