Ryokan Okayama
Renovated in autumn of 2013, Ryokan Okayama offers public 24-hour hot-spring baths and rooms with tatami (woven-straw) floors. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas and guests can request relaxing massages for an extra cost. A free shuttle is available from JR Myoko Kogen Train Station, which is a 15-minute drive away.
The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Some rooms come with an en suite bathroom, while others share bathrooms and toilets.
A private reservable hot-spring bath is available if requested in advance. Ski equipment rentals are available and ski passes can be purchased on site. A coin-launderette and barbecue facilities are available.
Traditional multi-course meals featuring local specialties and local alcoholic beverages are offered for dinner. A Japanese set breakfast can be enjoyed as well. All meals are served at the dining room.
Okayama Ryokan is a 10-minute drive from Akakura Hot Spring Ski Area and Ikenohira Hot Spring Ski Area. Myoko Kogen Sky Cable Station is a 2-minute walk away. A free shuttle is available to and from nearby ski resorts.
